COVID-19 Shipping Update

16/09/2020 Update

Statement from New Zealand Post: "Due to the wide spread of COVID-19 globally, we are still experiencing major international delivery delays due to insufficient airfreight capacity and government restrictions. We expect this to continue for some time. Thank you for your patience".

Delays to Australia (From NZ Post)

Queensland

We are currently experiencing backlogs into Queensland, Australia, at our facility. Please expect an additional 2 days for delivery as we are routing mail and parcels to alternative ports. All other destinations in Australia are up to date at our facility.

Victoria

Due to Level 4 protocols in Victoria, Australia there will be delays in deliveries for International Air products and its variants due to reduction in staffing at the Victoria International gateway. These items will be re-routed to a different facility for processing.

Start Date: 2nd September
End Date: 27th September

* Please note that the end date is dependent on when the state of Victoria will come out of lockdown

We still aim to dispatch all orders within 3 business days but can't guarantee you'll receive your order in the approximate shipping times shown in the cart section. We thank you for your patience! 

Domestic orders (orders within New Zealand) are running as normal.

Domestic Shipping

All New Zealand orders are shipped with Aramex (formerly known as Fastway couriers). Shipping is $4.99  for Urban areas and $9.85 for Rural areas. Both include track and trace. For bulk orders please contact support@motomounts.co.nz for a shipping quote.

Lost or Damaged packages

In the unlikely occurrence that your goods are lost or damaged in transit, please contact us within 10 business days at support@motomounts.co.nz. We will then launch a formal investigation with the courier company, once Motomounts have received confirmation that the delivery has not been successful customers will be offered either a refund or replacement.

 

International Shipping

Delivery charges for orders to international addresses are calculated during the checkout process.

Import Duties and Taxes

Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Motomounts have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you may want to contact your local customs office for further information.

Lost or Damaged packages

If you suspect your order has been lost or damaged in transit, please contact us support@motomounts.co.nz. We will use the delivery information to make a claim with the courier. We will offer you the choice of a replacement or a refund, once we have received confirmation with the courier that delivery was not successful.

We aim to dispatch all orders within 3 business days of the order being placed.
